Diabetes Solution: Understand how diabetes develops and you will understand how to manage it. Type 2 and Pre-Diabetes is a disease of “too much” insulin. Your diabetes was not cause by eating too much or not exercising enough. Thereby, a starvation diet coupled with chronic exercise will not reverse diabetes. In our diabetes workshops and health coaching classes, you will learn the cause of diabetes and the framework, tools and resources to successfully manage your diabetes.

Treat the Cause… not the Symptom — Medications and drugs will lower your blood sugar to some degree. However, the underlying cause of diabetes is excessive insulin production, also known as hyperinsulinemia, and insulin resistance. If you treat the symptom, high blood sugar, and ignore the cause, excessive insulin and insulin resistance, then the underlying diabetic condition will continue to progress in the body. Obesity does not cause Diabetes… but the same thing that causes obesity causes diabetes—Insulin. Insulin is the body’s primary fat building hormone. Excessive insulin production will drive fat accumulation (obesity) and insulin resistance (diabetes).
