The Solution

The Solution

Type II and “pre” diabetes is preventable and reversible, not chronic and progressive. A diagnosis of diabetes is not a life sentence. Conventional medicine treats diabetes as a chronic and progressive disease by attempting to mask the symptoms and slow the progression of the disease with medications. In order to successfully manage diabetes you must address the underlying cause.

Diabetic Strong Framework

Simply put: The Diabetic Strong framework designed to address the overproduction of insulin in Type II and Pre-Diabetics. (Click here for Type I Diabetes) The American diet is full of empty calories and an abundance of rapidly absorbed sugars, liquid calories and refined carbohydrates. As these foods are consumed you will experience a rise in blood glucose (sugar) levels. In response to rising blood sugar levels the body will secrete insulin. The role of insulin is to usher blood glucose to your brain, muscles and liver for energy. Any excess glucose that is not immediately utilized will then be converted to FAT and stored in your cells. As fat cells become full… your body simply creates more fat cells. (yikes!)

As your cells are continually bombarded with insulin, they finally say “enough!” In steps Insulin Resistance. As your cells now begin to resist the advances of insulin, your pancreas responds by pushing back harder and produces more insulin to get the job done. Why? Insulin’s job is to remove high blood sugar from the bloodstream because high blood sugar in the bloodstream is toxic. Your body is now creating more insulin in response to the insulin resistance which in turn causes your cells to become even more insulin resistant thereby causing your body to create even more insulin…vicious, never-ending cycle. To further compound the severity of this never-ending cycle you must also know that insulin is the body’s primary fat building hormone. That is why society so commonly makes the mistake of believing that obesity causes diabetes. Obesity DOES NOT cause diabetes but the same thing that causes diabetes causes obesity—Overproduction of Insulin. So, why is high blood sugar a problem? Your body will eventually reach the point where it can no lower produce enough insulin to remove the high blood glucose (sugar) from your bloodstream. As the blood sugar levels increase it will damage every tissue and organ in your body… but remember, high blood sugar is the symptom. Winning the diabetic battle will require you to address the underlying cause—the over production of insulin, a.k.a. hyperinsulinemia, which is driven by the foods we eat and our lifestyle. As you work with our Diabetic Health Coaches and attend our Live Workshops you will learn:
  • Powerful, proven approach to successfully managing diabetes (Type II and Pre-Diabetes)
  • Framework for achieving 5% A1c and reducing hypoglycemic events (Type I)
  • What causes rising insulin/blood sugar
  • How to lower insulin production and blood glucose levels
  • How to profoundly improve metabolism and health bio-markers
  • How to moderate insulin levels, lower inflammation, promote efficient reduction of excess body fat, effortless maintenance of ideal body composition, increase daily energy levels, decrease risk for illness and optimize function of hormone systems (Stress, appetite, immune, metabolic, sleep and thyroid)
  • Why the body cannot burn FAT in the presence of high insulin/blood sugar
  • Why calorie restriction and chronic exercise will not reverse diabetes or result in long term weight loss success
  • How to become a lean, fat burning machine
  • Healthy food choices that result in lower insulin production/blood sugar while eating until satisfied (no calorie restrictions or calorie counting)
  • Sensible exercise that rejects long hours in the gym on the treadmill (counterproductive) but provides optimal outcome for lowering insulin levels, increasing insulin sensitivity, and enhancing body composition
  • How to cut through the “noise” of misguided/failed diabetic approaches
  • How to turn from the destruction of diabetes and create an optimal level of health and vitality
